One of the chieftains of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Lauretta Onochie has taken to her official X account on Friday, December 12, 2025 to react after she saw the former governor of Kaduna state and his mother performing Lesser Hajj.
In the post that Lauretta Onochie made on her page, she shared photos of the former governor of Kaduna state and his mother in Mecca. In the photos, El-Rufai was seen pushing his mother who was on a wheelchair.
After sharing the pictures, Lauretta Onochie described Nasir El-Rufai as his brother. He said they are in Mecca performing Umrah. Lauretta Onochie prayed that God will answer all their prayers.

“My brother, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai and our mum, are in Mecca to perform the Lesser Hajj, Umrah. May Allah answer all their prayers”.
