According to a report by the Punch News on November 25, 2025, a former militant leader and Niger Delta activist, Mujahid Asari-Dokubo, has warned that if any Boko Haram fighters come to Port Harcourt, his business is to kill them. He said he won’t think twice about killing any terrorists that try to operate in Port Harcourt.
The former militant said that he kills terrorists in Zamfara, Niger and Plateau State, and he said his faith as a Muslim will not stop him from fighting back if attacked.
Asari-Dokubo said, “If Boko Haram comes to Port Harcourt, my intention is to confront them. I have been involved in efforts to counter them in Zamfara, Plateau, and Niger. If they come to Port Harcourt, I will take action against them. I’m speaking plainly and directly, without apology. As a Muslim, I will defend myself if attacked.”
He made this statement reacting to the recent killings and kidnapping happening in the country.
