A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Arch Uche Rochas, has stirred controversy online after questioning President Bola Tinubu’s leadership approach and insinuating possible political compromises with violent groups.
In a post shared on his X account on Saturday, November 22, 2025, Rochas wrote, “We all know that President Tinubu is a political strategist. Who knows, during his time strategizing on how to become president by all means, whether he might have made some kind of deal with this terror group as well. I have never seen a no-action leader like this before. He is just handicapped.”
The remark immediately sparked intense reactions from users across the platform.
One user responded by referencing past administrations, writing, “When your oga was vice president, the greatest genocide was carried out in the history of Nigeria. The Odi genocide, where thousands were killed and a whole village was overrun.”
Another user accused Rochas of attempting to undermine the president, saying, “He should come and tell you his plans so you could sabotage him like all of you are clearly doing.”
A different commenter suggested that the current situation was a form of political karma, noting, “Karma fulfills. He accused GEJ of inaction. Now it is his turn. I have no sympathy for either of them. Nigeria is in dire circumstances. What is responsible for the inaction in our leadership? Somebody has to tell us the truth.”
