Trump Threat: If The King of Saudi Arabia Says He Will Help Plateau, People Will Accept —Hon. Bagos

According to a report by Channels TV on Friday November 14, 2025, Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos, a former member of the House of Representatives, has issued an impassioned plea for justice for the victims of the protracted killings in Plateau State, emphasizing that the community is so desperate for peace that they would accept security intervention from any source, regardless of religious or political affiliation.

Bagos stressed that the central focus of the Plateau people remains getting justice for the lives lost, which, according to him, has not yet been achieved by the Nigerian government.

“My people have not yet gotten justice. The blood that have been shed, the blood that has still cried have not yet gotten justice,” Bagos lamented, underscoring the years of impunity and lack of accountability for the atrocities committed in the state.

Addressing the geopolitical debate surrounding potential foreign intervention which has often centered on US or Western involvement Bagos made a bold statement to illustrate the desperation for security and peace, going as far as to cite the king of Saudi Arabia, the custodian of the two holiest sites in Islam, as a welcome ally.

“Even if the king of Saudi that he’s a Muslim today will tell plateau people that look I’m coming to help you, Plateau people will accept,” he stated.

He concluded that the acceptance of help is purely pragmatic and driven by the urgent need for security, not by religious or political bias toward the helper.

“So it’s not about because it’s Trump. It’s not about because we are Christians, anywhere help will come from we will accept it.
