The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele has advised former presidential candidate Peter Obi regarding his political ambitions in Nigeria.
The cleric said that if opportunities such as First Vice President or Second Vice President are offered, Obi should accept them rather than insisting on the presidency.
In a recent prophecy shared via Facebook, Ayodele stated: “If they give him First or Second Vice President, he should take it. Thank you, sir. But for Obi to say he wants to become Nigerian president 2027—that one they joke, and even in Obedient they joke. Because the Obedient don’t enter one way; when you fire one way, what will happen? They go arrest you.”
The cleric suggested that Obi’s supporters, popularly called the Obidient, have limitations in influencing political outcomes and warned that overreaching could lead to unnecessary conflict. He encouraged Obi to consider strategic positions within government rather than focusing solely on the presidency.
Ayodele also emphasized the importance of patience, humility, and cooperation with existing political structures, warning that political ambition without careful strategy could lead to disappointment or confrontations with authorities.
He concluded by advising Obi to prioritize long-term political stability and public service over symbolic gestures or aspirations, noting that a pragmatic approach would ensure his continued influence in national politics.
