In a recent interview with News Central TV, Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo, the Regional Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) in Plateau State, spoke passionately about what he described as the ongoing genocide against Christians in Nigeria.
He discussed U.S. President Donald Trump’s stated intention to intervene and shared his own experiences of attacks, along with evidence he considered troubling, to support his claims.
During the interview (Between 3:56-4:40 minute), he expressed concern about the historical roots of the crisis, suggesting that the situation was part of a continuing struggle for land involving Islamic terrorists from neighbouring countries such as Niger and Chad.
While he was talking, he said, “There are many things that I have in secret but I won’t say it here. Very soon, the whole northern emirs met in one of the Northern states, and I know how they condemned the issue (Trump’s claim on Christians genocide). Some of them are in chains, because if they open their mouth and speak, you will see assassination on them. Some of the governors also are sponsoring them.”
