The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a strong warning to prominent Nigerian figures, Vice President Kashim Shettima, former Borno State Governor Ali Modu Sheriff, former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, and Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, urging them to act with caution and divine wisdom in their dealings as the eyes of the international community, especially the United States of America, are upon them.
Primate Ayodele, made this revelation in a fresh statement released from his Lagos headquarters; He stated that America and other global powers are closely monitoring certain developments in Nigeria involving key northern leaders, adding that the decisions and alliances they make in the coming days will have far-reaching consequences.
According to the cleric, these men stand at a “spiritual and political crossroads,” and their next moves could either bring peace and stability to the country or open the door to deeper divisions and crisis.
“America is watching; These people, Shettima, Modu Sheriff, El-Rufai, and Gumi, must be careful at this junction; They must act with the fear of God, because every step they take now carries divine and international attention; The spirit of truth is moving, and they need to know what to do,” Primate Ayodele warned.
He emphasized that political influence should not be used to stir religious or ethnic sentiments, adding that Nigeria’s unity remains fragile and can only be sustained by leaders who operate with sincerity and divine guidance.
The prophet further advised the Nigerian government to seek wisdom in handling issues of national security, interfaith dialogue, and political alignment, warning that wrong decisions made at this moment could attract global scrutiny and unfavorable outcomes.
“This is not the time for pride or manipulation. It is the time for truth, humility, and prayer; I see a global focus on Nigeria, and I want our leaders to know that the world is watching every action they take,” he added.
