Jennifer Awele Okpuno, wife of late Nollywood actor Junior Pope, has shared an interesting financial habit she and her husband practiced during their marriage.

Taking to her official Instagram handle, Jennifer said she recently stumbled upon an old agreement paper between herself and her late husband while going through old pictures. According to her, the document brought a wide smile to her face.

She explained that whenever either of them needed to borrow money, they would write and sign an agreement stating the date the money was borrowed and when it should be repaid. They also took pictures of the agreement as proof in case the paper got missing.

Jennifer said they adopted this method because it’s usually difficult to recover borrowed money from one’s partner. Her post sparked reactions, with many followers praising the idea and others saying they would start using the same approach in their relationships.
