Senator Ned Nwoko, the lawmaker representing Delta North senatorial district in the 10th assembly has made a stunning revelation regarding the push for the creation of Anioma State. According to his statements which were shared by a popular ChannelsTv anchor, he pointed out that the promise to support the creation of the state informed his decision to abandon the People’s Democratic Party.
The calls for the creation of new states across the country from several individuals, groups and stakeholders had sparked massive public attention as many believed further creation of new states will be burdensome on the federal government.
However, the lawmaker representing Delta North senatorial district, Senator Ned Nwoko disclosed in a recent interview with popular ChannelsTv anchor, Seun Okin disclosed that the push to create a certain state changed his political alignment.
According to the lawmaker who had been on the spotlight for the wrong reasons after being accused of domestic violence, the president gave him his words that he will support his push for the creation of Anioma State.
He described the president as a very strategic person who had done wonderful things. He further pointed out that the creation of Anioma will be the most wonderful thing the president will do for the Southeast region.
“The President assured me before I left PDP that he would support our push for Anioma State if we do our part in the National Assembly, so I’m sure after the referendum he will fall in line with our agenda… Senator Ned Nwoko said.
