We Take Out Over 600 Bandit And Terrorists Every Week But Over 2000 Join Them Again-Christopher Musa

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa has alleged that despite significant military efforts, which see the elimination of over 600 bandits and terrorists weekly, the ranks of these groups swell by over 2000 new recruits in the same period.

He elaborated on the factors contributing to this troubling dynamic, noting that the population, especially in rural areas, becomes an easy target for exploitation by these criminal factions. He stated that without access to basic amenities and opportunities, people in these regions often see no alternative but to align themselves with these outlaw groups.

He said in an interview with Channels TV, ”Asymmetric Warfare has a direct flux to do with good governance. If your people can’t eat, if they are unemployed. These are recipes that will always cause people to join these bandits. We take out over 600 bandits and terrorists every week but over 2000 join them again. Why is that so?
