Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has stated that he once went to the Abuja City Gate and sat there while only a few people were around.
In a video shared by NTA, Wike stated that more people gradually gathered there after noticing him and so he decided to quickly leave the area
Wike said as a public official, he appreciates the love people show him but he has to be careful with how he interacts with people on the streets.
Wike added that he occasionally walks into different places across the city without security. However, he said he would not reveal when he does so because of safety concerns.
