BAT:When He Was Gov, Aregbesola Was Commissioner for Works, There Was A Hausa Man in the Cabinet

According to a report by Vanguard on July 30, 2026, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, has stated that when President Tinubu was governor of Lagos State, he had a Commissioner for Works from Osun, and even his cabinet had people of other ethnicities.

According to him, the Tinubu we knew then is different from the one we all know now. He stressed that Tinubu was more considerate and that he even had people of other ethnicities in his cabinet.
