According to a video posted on Piers Morgan on Wednesday 15, 2026, former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett warned that failing to stop Iran today would leave the world facing a nuclear-armed regime similar to North Korea in the near future.
Bennett made the comment while defending the ongoing military campaign against Iran, which he described as necessary to prevent the country from becoming a full nuclear power.
He argued that dismantling a terror network built over four decades cannot happen overnight, and said the process, though difficult, is working slowly to weaken Tehran’s capabilities.
In his words, Naftali Bennett said, “That’s no easy endeavor and you’re better off doing it early. Even that it’s not pleasant. And I’m not suggesting this is easy.
“It’s not going easy, but you got to do it because if you don’t do it, you get a North Korea with nuclear bombs.”
He explained that Iran has spent decades building what he called a terror network reaching across the region, and said that allowing the country to acquire nuclear weapons would multiply its threat many times over.
Bennett pointed to the strikes on Iran’s Natanz and Fordow nuclear sites as proof that military pressure has already slowed the program, even though enriched uranium stockpiles remain a concern.
He also addressed skepticism from host Piers Morgan, who questioned why Israel and the United States were still fighting Iran months after claiming the nuclear program had been set back by years.
Bennett responded that dismantling a regime built over decades takes patience, comparing the current campaign to historical wartime efforts that also faced setbacks before succeeding.
He said the region and the world would face a far more dangerous situation if the campaign were abandoned now, leaving Iran free to rebuild its nuclear ambitions without resistance….See_More
