My Husband Beats Me If I Refuse Him Sēx And Uses My Money To Sleep With Other Women– Woman Cries Out

A Nigerian woman identified as Gift has shared a disturbing account of the abuse she allegedly endured during her marriage, claiming that her husband subjected her to years of physical, emotional, and financial hardship.

Gift made the allegations during a recent episode of the Brekete Family program, a popular human rights radio and television show in Abuja hosted by the Ordinary President, where she appealed for help and narrated the challenges she faced in her relationship.

According to her, she was brought to Abuja with the promise of marriage and a better future. However, she said the relationship soon became a source of pain and suffering as she allegedly experienced repeated abuse at the hands of her husband.

Narrating her ordeal on the program, Gift said one of the most troubling aspects of the marriage was her husband’s alleged control over her finances despite the fact that she worked hard to support herself through a pepper soup business.

She explained that after making sales, her husband would regularly demand that she hand over the proceeds from her business to him.

According to her, “My husband beats me if I refuse him sex and uses my money to sleep with other women.”

The woman alleged that the abuse was not limited to financial control, claiming that physical violence often followed whenever she resisted her husband’s demands.

She said, “Whenever I refuse to give him money or do what he wants, he starts beating me. Sometimes, I don’t even know what I did wrong before he becomes violent.”

Gift further claimed that after collecting money from her, her husband would spend it on other women rather than supporting the family or helping her sustain her business.

According to her, “I sell pepper soup to survive, but he takes the money and spends it on other women. After that, I am left with nothing to continue my business.”

She told the Brekete Family audience that the situation became increasingly difficult because the money she earned was often her only source of livelihood. Losing her business capital repeatedly made it harder for her to remain financially independent.

The woman also alleged that the emotional impact of the abuse took a serious toll on her wellbeing over the years.

She said, “I have suffered so much in this marriage. I kept hoping things would change, but the situation only became worse.”

Gift explained that despite enduring the alleged mistreatment for a long period, she eventually decided to speak out publicly in the hope of receiving assistance and finding a lasting solution to her situation.

Her appearance on the Brekete Family program drew attention from listeners and viewers, many of whom expressed concern over the allegations and called for appropriate intervention.

Gift maintained that her decision to come forward was motivated by a desire to end the suffering she claimed to have experienced and to rebuild her life.

According to her, “I just want peace. I want to be free from the suffering and be able to take care of myself without fear.”she added…See More
