Fmr IGP Adamu Complained That He Was Rigged Out, Did He Think It Wouldn’t Get To His Turn? -Odinkalu

Chidi Odinkalu, a renowned human rights activist and former chairman of the national human rights commission recently reacted after the former Inspector general of police, Muhammad Abubakar Adamu complained that he was rigged out of the recently concluded APC gubernatorial primaries in Nassarawa State.

According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle on Sunday May 24th, 2026 he pointed out that nemesis was catching up with the former police chief.

It can be recalled that many were left stunned after the former police inspector general raised serious concerns over the conduct of the APC primaries, alleging that he was rigged out in an exercise he described as undemocratic.

His comments, which triggered massive public reactions, caught the attention of Chidi Odinkalu who in a recent statement, reminded the former police chief of his actions while at the helms of affairs in the Nigeria Police Force.

Chidi Odinkalu, widely admired for his outspokenness, pointed out that it was the turn of Muhammad Abubakar Adamu to reap the rewards of his actions as police officers under his command helped in rigging elections.
