ADC chieftain Chief Dele Momodu has alleged that Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso publicly stated just a few years ago that he cannot be a running mate to Mr. Peter Obi because his region of the country would not vote for Peter Obi.
Speaking on Arise TV, Momodu recalled the senator’s own words. “The same Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso told us just about two or three years ago that he would not be able to be a running mate to Peter Obi, and he gave his cogent reasons that one of which was that the part of the country he comes from will not vote for Peter Obi,” he said.
Momodu went further, alleging that Kwankwaso’s current posture within the NDC is driven not by genuine solidarity with Obi but by a calculated strategy aimed at the 2031 elections.
