In a recent interview on Trust TV, Dr. Alex Ter Adum, a prominent member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), addressed key political developments shaping preparations for Nigeria’s 2027 general elections. His remarks focused on zoning debates, coalition-building efforts, and the evolving alignment of opposition forces.
During the discussion, Adum raised a critical question regarding the current political landscape: “Is the South looking for a new president, because the South currently has a president?” The statement was made in response to ongoing conversations about power rotation and the positioning of influential opposition figures, including Peter Obi.
