Atiku’s Aide Reacts To Comment Of Onanuga That Buhari Completed 8yrs, Tinubu Too Must Complete 8yrs

Paul Ibe, the Special Adviser on Media to Atiku Abubakar has reacted to the statement that the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga made about power rotation in Nigeria.

The statement of Paul Ibe was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Thursday, April 16, 2026.

This is coming after Bayo Onanuga stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu must complete 8 years because Muhammadu Buhari did 8 years.

Here is what Bayo Onanuga wrote on his page;

“Since Buhari completed his eight years, Tinubu too must complete his own. All Atiku needs to do is to bury the thought of running again, as it is still the South’s turn in the 2027 election”.

However, Paul Ibe has now shared his thoughts after the post surfaced online. In a statement that he shared on his official X handle, he said the responsibility to renew a mandate lies with the Nigerian voters. He said nobody will be allowed to grab power in 2027.
