Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, governorship candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election and a leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Lagos, has shared his outlook on the 2027 general elections, describing the anticipated contest as a defining moment for the electorate.

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour responded to questions regarding the political trajectory ahead of the next election cycle.

According to him, “Poverty is at an all time high. Unemployment is up. Insecurity is up. And they are living lavish. Look at the way they are living. They look like, oh, they are living like the economies where we are suffering.”
