Our Men Are Waiting For The Arrival Of The American Soldiers On The Ground To Set Them On Fire

According to a report by Vanguard Nigeria, Iran’s parliamentary speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, has accused the United States of engaging in double-dealing — publicly expressing interest in diplomatic talks while secretly preparing for a ground invasion of Iran.

In a statement carried by the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Ghalibaf warned that Washington’s true intentions are far more aggressive than its public rhetoric suggests. “The enemy publicly sends messages of negotiation and dialogue while secretly planning a ground attack,” he said.

He issued a strong threat, declaring: “Our men are waiting for the arrival of the American soldiers on the ground to set them on fire and punish their regional allies once and for all.”

The comments were made as the Middle East conflict enters its fourth week, following the initial U.S.-Israeli airstrikes on February 28 that killed Iran’s Supreme Leader and triggered a wave of Iranian retaliation across the region.

Ghalibaf’s remarks reflect a defiant and uncompromising tone from Tehran’s leadership, signaling that any attempt at a ground operation would be met with fierce resistance. The statement also appeared designed to rally domestic support and project strength during what he portrayed as a critical phase in a larger global struggle.

Meanwhile, the war has caused major disruptions to international shipping, especially through the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz — a key passage for a large portion of the world’s oil and gas supplies.
