Social media users have taken to their official X account on March 27, 2026 to react to the statement that was made by the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi after he heard about the death of Hajiya Umma El-Rufai, the mother of the former governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.
His statement came after Channels TV reported that the mother of the former governor of Kaduna state died in Egypt.
Reacting, Peter Obi expressed sadness over the incident. The former governor of Anambra state said it is a sombre moment for the family of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.
