Chidi Odinkalu, a renowned human rights activist and former chairman of the national human rights commission has taken to his official X handle to react after Isa Salami, a former president of the appeal court disclosed that judicial incompetence enabled Peter Obi’s candidacy in the 2023 presidential elections. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that the former appeal court president also had questions to answer.
Isa Salami, a former president of the appeal court recently caused a stir after he disclosed that allowing the former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi to contest in the 2023 presidential elections was a judicial mistake.
His comments, which triggered massive reactions across various social media platforms, caught the attention of Chidi Odinkalu, a respected human rights activist who in a recent statement, slammed the antics of the former appeal court president.
