I’ve Heard People Say I Was Dead, Some Said I Was A Ghost, Others Said I Was Boko Haram -Actor Agboola

Ali Agboola, a Nollywood actor, has spoken about false rumours that once spread about him. He said some people claimed he was dead; others said he was a ghost, while some even said he was a Boko Haram member

In an interview with Behind The Fame African A-List, Agboola said he lived in Ekiti State many years ago and he used to collect CDs from marketers to sell. He stated that one day, the people he gave CDs worth over 2 million naira to ran away without paying him.

Agboola said he was unable to repay the marketer who gave him the CDs, so he fled from Ekiti to Ibadan. He said he later traveled to the Benin Republic, where he spent seven years working to survive.

Agboola said while he was away in Benin Republic, people back home in Ekiti began spreading false rumours that he was dead. He said some claimed he was a terrorist member
