According to a report by Times Of Israel on Saturday, March 21, 2026, Early Saturday, Tehran and several other Iranian cities were struck by a series of missile attacks, according to eyewitness reports collected by Iran International.
In the capital, explosions were reported from around 3:30 a.m. to 4:35 a.m. Shahrak‑e Rah Ahan was hit by four missiles at approximately 3:45 a.m., while Ferdows Boulevard experienced strikes around 3:30 a.m. Residents in District 22 reported hearing three explosions, and four additional blasts were noted from the direction of Tehransar. Loud detonations were also reported in Lavizan, Shahr‑e Ziba, and in Bidkaneh, west of Tehran, where attacks reportedly continued at roughly ten‑minute intervals from 4:00 a.m.
Other cities also experienced significant strikes. In Ahvaz, in southwestern Iran, two explosions were heard at 3:32 a.m. Central Iran’s Isfahan saw blasts at 2:00 a.m., 3:00 a.m., and 5:00 a.m., with the 3:00 a.m. explosion described by locals as the most powerful. Shahreza, located south of Isfahan, was reportedly hit by a missile around 3:00 a.m.
In Yazd, strikes targeted several mountainous areas surrounding the city at about 10:40 a.m. In southwestern cities Dezful and Andimeshk, five heavy explosions occurred between 11:40 a.m. and 11:48 a.m., reportedly affecting the Dokouheh area and shaking buildings across the region.
