In a recent Facebook video, Primate Elijah Ayodele shared his concerns about the potential challenges that could confront Bola Ahmed Tinubu if he seeks a second term in office.
The cleric suggested that one of the major issues the president may encounter is the likelihood of surrounding himself with the wrong set of advisers.
According to him, the individuals chosen to serve as part of the president’s intellectual and strategic support system could significantly influence the direction of governance.
He warned that if such appointments are not made carefully, they could result in poor guidance and ineffective decision-making at critical moments.
Ayodele emphasized that a weak or misguided think tank would struggle to properly interpret complex political situations or provide sound strategies, ultimately leading to avoidable mistakes.
He further noted that such advisers might unintentionally or deliberately mislead the president, thereby complicating governance and reducing the chances of achieving desired outcomes during a second term.
