In an interview with The Podcast Network, Charles Oputa, a musician and Nollywood actor popularly known as Charly Boy, stated that he often wonders what the future holds for young people in Nigeria

Oputa said he believes the country is about to experience widespread hardship. He said the things he is seeing now reminds him of the events that led to the Nigerian Civil War and he is afraid.

Oputa said he clearly remembers that period because he was around 16 or 17 years old when the war happened.
