Iran Speaker Says Americans Deserve To Know Why Trump Is Sacrificing Their Sons And Daughters

According to a report by Al-Jazeera on Friday, March 13, 2026, the Speaker of Iran’s parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, has criticized the United States’ military involvement in the Middle East following reports that a U.S. refueling aircraft crashed in Iraq.

In a message posted on the social media platform X, Ghalibaf mocked the U.S. military over the incident and questioned the rationale behind Washington’s continued military engagement in the region. His remarks were directed at U.S. President Donald Trump and also referenced Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“American families deserve to know why Trump is sacrificing their sons and daughters to advance Netanyahu’s expansionist delusions,” Ghalibaf wrote in English.

The statement came after reports circulated about a U.S. aerial refueling plane crash, which has drawn attention amid the ongoing conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel. While details surrounding the crash remain limited, the incident has been widely discussed across regional media and political circles.

Ghalibaf’s message was accompanied by a controversial hashtag referencing Jeffrey Epstein, the late financier and convicted sex offender who had previously maintained connections with several prominent political and business figures. Epstein died in 2019 while in federal custody in the United States, and his case has continued to generate widespread speculation and political debate.

The Iranian parliamentary speaker’s remarks reflect Tehran’s broader effort to criticize U.S. military actions in the region and to portray Washington’s involvement as serving the strategic interests of Israel rather than those of the American public.

Meanwhile, tensions remain high as military exchanges continue between Iran and its adversaries. The conflict, which escalated following coordinated strikes on Iranian targets earlier in the year, has led to retaliatory attacks, including missile and drone strikes across multiple countries in the Middle East…..See More
