During an interview on News Central TV, Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), said discussions are ongoing among several political figures ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Galadima explained that many Nigerians who are dissatisfied with the current administration are looking toward a coalition that could unite major opposition figures. He noted that the idea of forming a joint ticket involving Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso alongside either Obi or Jonathan has been widely discussed in political circles.

He, however, emphasized that while these conversations and speculations exist, no final decision has been reached regarding any formal political arrangement ahead of the election.
