Umahi: I Said ‘Sir We’re About To Leave’ He Got Into His Car & Drove Off, I Called Him 11 Times-Ohiri

In an interview on KaaTruths, Tracy Ohiri, a businesswoman who accused the Minister of Works, David Umahi, of refusing to pay her an alleged debt of N250 million, narrated an incident she said deepened her frustration over the matter.

Ohiri claimed that despite her repeated efforts to resolve the issue directly with the minister, she was unable to get a clear response from him.

According to her, the situation became more troubling after a meeting where she attempted to speak with him before leaving for Lagos.

“I went to meet him. I said, ‘Sir, we’re about to leave; we want to start going back to Lagos.’ He just opened the door of his jeep, got into his car, and drove off. I called him several times, like 11 times. I called, but he didn’t take my call,” she said.

Recounting the encounter, Ohiri said she had approached Umahi to inform him that she and her team were about to return to Lagos.
