In a recent interview with The Sun on Saturday, February 21, 2026, Publicity Secretary of the United Kingdom Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, Tunde Ajisola, has stated that Nigeria is now generating more revenue than before.
Ajisola said the country has not recorded such level of revenue generation in the past, he said the improvement is linked to the economic policies of President Bola Tinubu.
He said the financial position of Nigeria is getting stronger under the current administration and added that this development is important for national growth.
Ajisola said state governors are now receiving higher financial allocations than before, he said this is a historic development in the country’s economic management.
He explained that never in the past had governors enjoyed such level of allocation from the federal government, he said the increase in revenue should help states develop faster.
According to him, the extra money coming to states should be used wisely, he said the main goal is to improve the lives of citizens.
Ajisola urged state governments to focus on projects that will benefit the public, he said health, education, and infrastructure should receive more attention.
He said good leadership is not only about generating money, he said it is about using public funds to improve living conditions and added that the current administration is working to strengthen the economy.
He said progress may not be fast, but the country is moving forward, he said higher revenue should reflect in better services for Nigerians, he said people should begin to feel positive changes in their communities.
”Never in the history of this country had we generated the kind of money we are generating now. And that is down to the acumen of President Bola Tinubu.
