Former Minister of Transportation and former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, has stated that while he was still a member of the ruling party, he warned leaders that he was better than President Bola Tinubu, but they dismissed his claims.
In a video shared by SYMFONI TV during a campaign rally for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) on February 14, 2026, Amaechi stated that many of those who opposed him in APC have now been politically sidelined under Tinubu’s leadership.
Amaechi explained that Tinubu has removed several prominent figures from key positions, including Badaru, Ganduje, and El-Rufai. He described his reaction as laughter, noting that he had earlier predicted such outcomes.

“You know I was in APC. All the people that were doing gra gra in APC, I was begging them. I said I’m better than Tinubu, they said it’s a lie. Now when I see them, I start laughing like a mad man.
