Nasir El-Rufai, a former governor of Kaduna State, has shared his reaction towards the list of terrorism sponsors in Nigeria published by the United States of America.
According to reports, five United States lawmakers have proposed a bill seeking to impose sanctions on a former governor of Kano State and the national leader of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP), Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, amongst others, over alleged terrorism financing in Nigeria.
However, during an interview with Arise News, Nasir El-Rufai, a former governor of Kaduna state, stated that the ex-governor, Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, wasn’t the only governor to apply the use of the controversial Sharia law.
He maintained that those that cut off the hands of Bello Buba Jangebe as a judicial punishment by a Sharia court in Zamfara State are moving about freely because they are members of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
