In a recent video on Facebook, Popular Nigerian prophet, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a stern advisory to the country’s newly appointed Minister of Defence, urging him to prioritize action over public statements. Ayodele delivered the caution during his latest prophetic session, emphasizing the need for strategic silence in matters of national security.
“Then the new minister for defense, don’t talk too much. Go and work,” Ayodele warned, stressing that excessive communication could undermine security operations. He advised the minister to guard his plans closely. “Don’t disclose your strategy. Keep your strategy inside you,” he added.
Ayodele also mentioned Chief of Defence Staff, Christopher Musa, predicting attempts to undermine him if he is not discreet. “Christopher Musa… they will ‘musalize’ you. They musalize you,” he said, suggesting that internal forces may try to weaken or manipulate him. The cleric again stressed: “Don’t talk—action. Less talk.”
The prophet went further, calling for changes within the defence hierarchy. “Remove Matawali or what do you call him? Remove him… remove,” Ayodele declared, though he did not elaborate on the reasons behind the recommendation.
He concluded by advising President Bola Tinubu to consider bringing in strong military figures. “Think of people like… should call General,” he hinted, suggesting that seasoned officers may be needed to restore stability and improve security coordination.
