Bayo Onanuga’s comment followed a video clip posted by IZALA on his X handle on Monday, November 24, 2025.
In the post, Onanuga declared: “We shall never forget and forgive Peter Obi for supporting a foreign invasion of Nigeria.” The comment was in response to a video shared by a user who shared a video of Obi saying: “If Donald Trump said he will invade Nigeria, I will welcome it with open arms because security is my priority.” The clip, reportedly filmed during a leadership forum, shows Obi addressing an audience on national security challenges.
