In a recent video on IsrealiPM, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said Israel’s security operations are not only about national self-defence but also about protecting other nations from shared threats, as he expressed gratitude to United States President Donald Trump for his support.
Speaking during a recent address amid heightened regional tensions, Netanyahu explained that Israel’s military posture is driven by the need to safeguard its citizens while preventing broader global instability.
“So, we set out to protect ourselves,” Netanyahu said, “but in so doing, we protect many others.”
The Israeli leader noted that threats confronting Israel often have wider implications, arguing that actions taken by the country can help prevent danger from spreading beyond the Middle East. According to him, Israel’s efforts contribute to international security by confronting forces that could otherwise destabilise multiple regions.
Netanyahu used the opportunity to acknowledge the role of international allies, singling out Trump for what he described as strong leadership and solidarity during critical moments.
