According to a report by Reuters, President of the United States, Donald Trump, has stirred major global reaction after threatening that the US military could intervene in Nigeria over what he described as mass killings of Christians in the country.
Trump made the comments while analysing security, global religious persecution and foreign policy during a recent public discussion in America.
Trump suggested that Washington cannot continue to ignore what he framed as large-scale attacks on Christians across Nigeria and stressed that the United States has a moral responsibility to act if the situation continues to deteriorate.
