US Opened New Chapter In The War By Bombing Iran’s Energy Infrastructure -Iran Warns Oil Could Rise

Iran has warned that global oil prices could surge dramatically as the war involving the United States, Israel and Iran intensifies, following recent attacks on Iranian energy facilities.

According to reports highlighted by Al Jazeera, an official from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps accused the United States of opening what he described as a new phase of the conflict by targeting Iran’s energy infrastructure.

Speaking in a statement shared on social media, IRGC spokesperson Ebrahim Zolfighari warned that continued strikes on Iran’s oil facilities could have serious consequences for global energy markets. He said the escalation could push crude oil prices to extremely high levels if the attacks persist.

“If they can afford the price of oil at $200 per barrel, let them keep playing this game,” Zolfighari said, referring to the United States’ decision to strike Iranian energy installations.

The warning follows reports that U.S. and Israeli forces struck oil depots and other fuel infrastructure near Tehran, in what Iranian officials say is a deliberate attempt to damage critical economic facilities.

Iranian authorities have condemned the attacks and signaled that further escalation could lead to retaliation targeting energy infrastructure across the wider region…..See More
