Political commentator and co-founder of The Daily Wire, Ben Shapiro, has warned that Iran could again become a major security threat to the United States and its allies if future American administrations reverse current policies toward the country.
Shapiro made the remarks during an interview on Fox News on Sunday, March 15, 2026, while discussing the long-term implications of the ongoing U.S. military campaign against Iran.
According to Shapiro, the durability of the current strategy will depend heavily on whether future U.S. leaders maintain the same level of pressure on Tehran after the presidency of Donald Trump.
“Once he is no longer in office, you may end up with another Obama or Biden taking over, and Iran will once again become a greater danger to our allies, to the region, and to American interests,” Shapiro said during the broadcast.
