Trump: Once He Leaves, Another Obama Or Biden Could Return, And Iran Will Become A Threat Again-Shapiro

Political commentator and co-founder of The Daily Wire, Ben Shapiro, has warned that Iran could again become a major security threat to the United States and its allies if future American administrations reverse current policies toward the country.

Shapiro made the remarks during an interview on Fox News on Sunday, March 15, 2026, while discussing the long-term implications of the ongoing U.S. military campaign against Iran.

According to Shapiro, the durability of the current strategy will depend heavily on whether future U.S. leaders maintain the same level of pressure on Tehran after the presidency of Donald Trump.

“Once he is no longer in office, you may end up with another Obama or Biden taking over, and Iran will once again become a greater danger to our allies, to the region, and to American interests,” Shapiro said during the broadcast.

His comments reflect concerns among some conservative analysts that a shift in U.S. leadership could lead to a return to diplomatic engagement or reduced military pressure on Iran, potentially allowing the country to rebuild its strategic capabilities.

Shapiro’s remarks referenced former U.S. presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden, whose administrations pursued diplomatic strategies toward Iran that included negotiations aimed at limiting Tehran’s nuclear program.

The debate over how to handle Iran has long been one of the most contentious issues in U.S. foreign policy, with competing approaches ranging from military deterrence and economic sanctions to diplomacy and nuclear agreements.

Shapiro’s warning highlights the broader political divide in Washington over the future direction of U.S. policy toward Iran and the extent to which long-term security outcomes in the Middle East may depend on sustained American strategy across multiple administrations…..See More
