According to a report by Iran International on February 11, 2026, a meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and some of his top representatives was recently ended, according to President Trump.
He deemed the session a resounding success and stressed the continued strength and robustness of the United States’ and Israel’s strong and enduring partnership.
Major decisions were not made during the meetings. Trump told the Israeli prime minister that he would prefer to keep talks with Iran going until they reach a full agreement.
He made it obvious that he is quite interested in getting such an arrangement. On the other hand, he made it clear that if such discussions don’t lead to anything, the situation calls for a thorough assessment of what comes next.
Trump brought up the fact that the United States had responded forcefully with the Midnight Hammer operation the last time Iran decided to withdraw from negotiations. It turned out badly for Iranian interests, and they paid a heavy price for it.
He hoped that this time around, Iranian officials would be more rational and responsible so that they wouldn’t have to deal with the same problems. Other noteworthy topics discussed included recent events in Gaza and the wider Middle East.
Trump said that the Middle East is now at peace and emphasised the significant progress that has been made thus far.
These developments, he said, show that peace is finally breaking out in a region that has been plagued by war for so long.
