JNS CEO Alex Traiman revealed that U.S. President Donald Trump personally authorized the decisive strike that crippled Iran’s nuclear program, with B-2 stealth bombers destroying the heavily fortified Fordow reactor during Operation Midnight Hammer. The operation marked the culmination of a 12-day war in which Israel and the United States combined forces to dismantle most of Iran’s illicit nuclear capabilities.
Traiman described the campaign as a coordinated effort, stating that Israel had already taken out much of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure before the United States delivered the “final blow.” He emphasized the significance of targeting Fordow, a deeply buried facility long considered one of the most challenging sites in Iran’s nuclear network. “With the United States putting the final blow with the operation midnight hammer when President Trump set the B2 bombers to take out uh the reactor at Fordo,” he said.
The revelation came amid ongoing discussions about Iran’s nuclear ambitions and the regime’s recent claims that it no longer seeks nuclear weapons. Traiman suggested these statements were tactical attempts to buy time and negotiate a reprieve from further U.S. pressure. He linked the strikes to Trump’s broader strategy of framing any military action against Iran as necessary to prevent nuclear proliferation.
Traiman also contrasted Trump’s decisive action with previous administrations, noting that the current president is determined not to repeat the mistakes of past red lines left unenforced. The successful operation, he argued, has left Iran’s nuclear program severely degraded and the regime increasingly vulnerable—setting the stage for potential regime change or a fundamental shift in Tehran’s posture toward the West and Israel.
