Trump ‘Anointed by Jesus’ to Spark Armageddon in Iran,” Military Complaints Reveal

According to a report by Anadolu Agency on Wednesday, March 04, 2026, A U.S. military watchdog group says American service members have filed more than 200 complaints alleging that some commanders framed the U.S.–Israel military campaign against Iran in religious terms, linking it to biblical prophecy.

The complaints were lodged with the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF), a nonprofit organisation devoted to protecting religious liberty within the armed forces. Members from all service branches, including the Army, Air Force, Marines and Space Force, reported that their commanders described the conflict as part of a divine plan.

In one complaint, a non‑commissioned officer said a commander told troops during a combat readiness briefing that they should not fear the ongoing operations against Iran. According to the complaint, the commander said the war was “all part of God’s divine plan,” invoked citations from the Book of Revelation, and discussed Armageddon and the imminent return of Jesus Christ.

The same complaint alleged that the commander told the unit that President Donald Trump was “anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth.” The officer said the comments shocked many in attendance and were shared on behalf of 15 unit members — including Christians, one Jewish service member and one Muslim.

The MRFF said the complaints come from more than 50 military units and span installations across the United States and overseas.

Pentagon officials have not publicly responded to the allegations as of publication. The reports come amid broader controversy over the motivations and messaging surrounding the U.S. military’s role in the campaign against Iran… Discover More
