In a recent video shared on Facebook on Friday, March 20, 2026, Primate Elijah Ayodele spoke about the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran, expressing concern over the posture of key regional leaders and the direction of the war.
In the video, Ayodele stated, “US Iran war: The Israeli Prime Minister is afraid; they don’t believe Iran will give them back to back.” He explained that the intensity of Iran’s responses to attacks has created uncertainty among Israeli leadership, as retaliatory strikes continue to escalate tensions across the region.
According to Ayodele, the conflict between Israel and Iran has entered a phase where both sides are actively responding to each other’s moves, with missile and drone exchanges contributing to instability in the Middle East. Recent developments show that Israel has continued strikes on Iranian targets, while Iran has retaliated with attacks on Israeli and allied positions in the region.
Ayodele further emphasized that in conflicts of this nature, leaders often become cautious when confronted with strong and sustained retaliation from their opponents. He noted that the unpredictability of Iran’s response may influence strategic decisions by Israeli authorities as the war progresses.
The cleric added that prolonged hostilities can lead to widespread consequences, including humanitarian crises, economic disruptions, and increased insecurity across neighboring countries. He stressed that continuous exchanges of attacks risk expanding the conflict beyond its current scope.
Ayodele concluded by urging world leaders involved in the conflict to consider restraint and pursue diplomatic avenues, noting that sustained confrontation without resolution could deepen instability and prolong suffering for civilians in affected regions….See More
