The APC’s Popularity Is Too Strong That It Isn’t Even Allowing Other Parties To Focus -Jijiwa

Youth Advocate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Umar Jijiwa, has claimed that the growing popularity of the ruling party has unsettled the coordination of other political parties in the country.

Speaking in an interview with TVC News Nigeria, he stated that the APC’s popularity has made it difficult for opposition parties to stay focused and put their acts together.

He further argued that the APC possesses certain values that continue to attract high-profile defections from other parties. According to him, many politicians who are now aligning with the APC have done so because they believe in the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Jijiwa also pointed out that several other political parties in the country are currently experiencing internal turmoil, a situation he believes has positioned the APC as the most viable platform, as it does not face similar challenges.

He said: “Other political parties are in turmoil and they are confused and they don’t even know whether they can field candidates or not. In the APC, those issues are no longer here, we have a direction here. Nigerians have seen what is happening here.

“The APC’s popularity is too strong that it is not even allowing other political parties to focus and put themselves together because these political parties have made a mistake. They came together simply to remove Asiwaju, it is not about what they want to do for Nigeria. It is about how can we remove Asiwaju, that’s it.”
