Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the FCT minister and former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has taken to his official X handle to voice his displeasure over the antics of some muslim leaders. According to his statements, he pointed out that terrorists murdered several muslims in Kwara but some were only concerned about the removal of INEC chairman.
The attack on two communities in Kwara State by heavily armed unidentified bandits generated mixed reactions after the reports went viral across various social media platforms.
It can be recalled that the two communities, Woro and Nuku villages had received a letter requesting to propagate a version of Islam, a request which the leaders declined, describing them as extremist ideologies.
However, armed terrorists stormed the village occupied mainly by muslims and unleashed mayhem, exterminating over hundred persons, an act which sparked massive public backlash. However, the statements from some muslim leaders caught public attention.

According to his statements, he pointed out that terrorists rode into the two communities, lined up over hundred persons who were mainly muslims and slaughtered them, however, some muslim leaders were only concerned about the removal of the INEC boss.
It can be recalled that days prior, the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC), had raised serious concerns over the appointment of Joash Amupitan as INEC chairman and threatened to reject any result declared by him.
