Former Abia State Governor Uzor Kalu and his team have provided over 400 new wooden desks and educational materials to public schools within the Umunneochi Local Government Area (LGA).
In a media statement from Friday, February 6, 2026, Ex-Governor Uzor Kalu noted that teachers, students, parents, and the entire Umunneochi community celebrated this initiative with joy and gratitude.
They emphasized that the desks and educational resources would greatly enhance students’ comfort, boost their learning abilities, and contribute positively to their academic performance.
Uzor Kalu commented on the initiative, stating, “We are dedicated to making the learning environment for children in Abia North more comfortable and supportive. Education is fundamental for development, and we will keep providing resources that empower our students.”
