One of the chieftains of the All Progressive Congress, APC and former Kaduna lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted after Arise TV broadcaster, Rufai Oseni was criticized for telling an Israeli ambassador not to interrupt him.
The reaction of Senator Shehu Sani was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
This is coming after Rufai Oseni addressed the comment that he made during the interview that he had with the Israeli ambassador.
Here is what Rufai Oseni wrote on his official X handle;
“Don’t interrupt me is assertive, not rude, but again, the colonialism”.
However, Shehu Sani has now shared his thoughts after the post surfaced online. In a statement that he shared on his official X handle, he said people are always happy when a foreign journalist grills a Nigerian official but gets angry when a Nigerian journalist grills a foreign ambassador.

“They are happy when a foreign journalist grilled a Nigerian government official. They are not happy when a Nigerian journalist grilled a foreign ambassador.
