Senator Shehu Sani Reacts As INEC Chairman Removes Names Of ADC Leaders From INEC Portal

One of the chieftains of the All Progressive Congress, APC and former Kaduna lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has taken to his official X account on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 to react after the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, removed names of ADC leaders from its portal.

According to Channels TV, the Independent National Electoral Commission said it will henceforth cease to accept correspondences from either the David Mark-led African Democratic Congress (ADC) faction or that of Rafiu Bala, following a review of the Court of Appeal judgment.

Reacting, Senator Shehu Sani stated that the issue in the African Democratic Congress can be likened to a person who bought a used car. The former Kaduna lawmaker stated that it is better to register a new party than to inherit an old one.
