A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Segun Showunmi has reacted after he visited the new Minister of Defence, Christopher Musa on Thursday.
The former medie aide to former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the appointment.
A former media aide to Atiku Abubakar, Segun Showunmi stated on his verified Twitter page on Thursday; “I have always known this about President @officialABAT: when he decides that the season for excuses is over, he moves with unmistakable clarity and iron resolve.”
He stated further; “Today, with General Christopher Musa stepping forward as Nigeria’s new Minister of Defence, the message to the nation is firm and unmistakable: this government is done yielding to fear, done tolerating disorder, and done allowing insecurity to challenge the dignity of our people.”
He noted; “I hope that now under President Tinubu’s command, a new tempo is taking shape decisive, focused, and unapologetically committed to restoring peace and stability across our land.”
He added; “We stand behind the President, behind General Musa, and behind every uniformed man and woman who serves with honour, professionalism, and devotion to our sovereignty.”
He said; “Note: Picture taking tonight as I visited the Min of Defense, met a lot of my seniors especially Big-Gen David Dyeris. Rear Admiral Feguson Bobai and Big-Gen Atake Fiboinumama King of Abuloma kingdom.”
