Reno Omokri Pays A Visit To Governor Sheriff In Asaba, After His Confirmation As Ambassador

According to the recent post of Reno Omokri on his official Instagram account on Thursday, 18th December, 2025, the Ambassador-Designate disclosed that he paid homage to the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Sheriff Oborevwori, immediately after his final confirmation by the Senate of the National Assembly.

Omokri stated that during the visit, he appealed to the Governor, who is also the political leader of Delta State, to help convey his profound gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for graciously nominating him as Nigeria’s ambassador. He also expressed appreciation for the President’s forgiveness, describing it as a humbling act of grace.

The former presidential aide went on to thank his parents, Ochuko and Bemigho, for their love and nurturing, which shaped his life. He also acknowledged another set of parental figures, Esijolomi and Omerewumi, whose investment in his journey, he noted, remains unmatched.

Omokri further showered praises on the National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, describing him as a unifying figure beyond regional, religious, and ethnic divides. He highlighted the significance of Ribadu being born in 1960, the same year Nigeria gained independence, and described him as an embodiment of virtue and service.

He also expressed deep gratitude to the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, and the 108 other Senators for approving his confirmation to represent Nigeria. Special appreciation was extended to the three Senators from Delta State Senator Ede Dafinone, Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, and Senator Ned Munir Nwoko for their unwavering support throughout the screening process.
