Several reactions have trailed what All Progressive Congress, APC chieftain and former Kaduna lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani told those criticizing the military for seizing power in Guinea Bissau.
The statement of Senator Shehu Sani was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Thursday, November 27, 2025.
This is coming after BBC reported that the military in Guinea Bissau has arrested President Umaro Sissoco Embalo and assumed leadership.
In the post that Senator Shehu Sani shared on his official X handle, he said the President of Guinea Bissau has also killed democracy.
Here is what Senator Shehu Sani wrote on his official X handle;
“The deposed Guinea Bissau President, Umaro killed democracy and nobody condemned him, until the military came to bury it and now condemnation everywhere”.
